The Pineapple Academy & Event Studio (TPS) is an organization dedicated to excellence in the hospitality industry and to introducing the art and elements of hospitality to children, youth, and adults through programming, special events, and community service.

Established in 2021, TPS Academy creates partnerships with local schools and universities, businesses, recreation centers, restaurants, hotels, and other community organizations. We believe that embracing the spirit of hospitality can make positive lasting impressions professionally and in our every day lives.

TPS Events offers affordable event management consultation services to entities that represent and support the work of professional and trade associations. We understand that limited resources and budgetary constraints can effect the deliverables to members. We want to help associations reach goals and maximize impact for constituents.

To promote the art of hospitality as a virtue and increase awareness of the elements of the Hospitality Industry through activities, events, and community service.

Earla (EJ) Jones is an experience strategist, innovation leader, and hospitality educator. With over 20 years organizing meetings, conferences, exhibitions, and events of all sizes, Jones had a vision for a nonprofit organization that promotes the spirit of hospitality and the benefits it brings to the local community.

She is widely recognized as a thought leader and innovator within the meetings and expositions industry and was selected as one of Northstar Meetings Group’s Meetings Industry Influencers for 2023. She has been an adjunct professor for over 15 years. Jones has been featured in several articles and publications including Association Conventions & Facilities, Business Officer, and Associations Now magazines.
